Indochina Voyages did a fantastic job planning our first time family trip to Vietnam. For pre-trip planning we communicated through emails and Whatsapp messages. Vanessa worked with us to create a trip that satisfied everyone from 15 to 72 years old. I just wished we had more than 2 weeks. Vietnam is such a beautiful and big country that 2 weeks was just not enough. We had a private tour guide (Tuan in the North and Jun in Central.) Both of them were very accommodating to my sometimes demanding family. My teenage daughters really wanted shopping. They did a great job incorporating it into the already jammed packed itinerary. They took care of the admission fees and tickets which was awesome. Our drivers were very good and we felt safe despite the crazy traffic all around. We really enjoyed our 2 night cruise on the Violet at Ha Long Bay. The Violet is a small boat that accommodates only 12 guests. The food was absolutely amazing. (Not buffet style) The staff was also wonderful. The one thing that I would change if I were to go again is to eat more street food. The restaurants were great but there is something about eating on the street or even in small hole in the wall restaurants that give it the authentic feeling of being in Vietnam. I don’t recommend the large buffets at large touristy destinations like Fansipan Mountains or Ba Na Hills. I would highly recommend using Indochina Voyages to plan your next trip to Vietnam.
